Logo Paste Locks

Place the official mark inside clearspace equal to its own height, with no redraw, no matte, and no glow.

Use the official file. Do not redraw it, do not turn an inversion into a second brand, and do not sit it on a white matte with a glow. The paper is the surface, and the mark sits on the paper. Clearspace is one measured unit, the height of the symbol, kept on every side. Padding by eye gives the card one private margin and the letter another.

The mark in the plate is a square with a vermilion bar, not a real logo, so the placement can be judged on its own. On the left it floats in a corner on a white box with a glow. On the right the same mark sits in clearspace equal to its height, on the paper, with no matte. When that measurement is awkward, change the layout. Do not change the mark.

How to check it

  1. Open the placed artwork and the official file together. Paths, proportion, and colour should match. A redraw, a retyped word, or an inverted “version” is a different mark.
  2. Measure the empty margin on every side of the symbol. It should equal the symbol’s height. If the card says one number and the letter says another, someone padded by eye.
  3. Look at what is immediately behind the mark. You should see the paper of the sheet, not a white rectangle and not a glow. A halo means the mark is in the wrong field.
